FlyUp Downhill

About Us

Flyup was born in May 2010 starting at the Forest of Dean.

The concept came when Simon, a keen DH rider returned from a Mountain bike holiday in France. Like many people he had a busy life and got fed up of spending most of his precious riding day pushing up rather than riding.

Simon’s local trail was at the Cannop Cycle Centre in the Forest of Dean and with the outstanding riding available it seemed perfect for an uplift service. The Forestry Commission agreed and in May 2010 our first uplift took place. Although the demand was there, we waited until the new track was built to operate our 2nd bus in July 2012 at the FOD.

We were approached by Gawton Gravity Hub about operating an uplift service at their amazing location in Devon.  We jumped at the chance as Gawton offer some of the best DH tracks in the country. We started at Gawton in February 2013.

We are massively passionate about what we do, and have been working towards the Flyup 417 Project since June 2013. Work has begun on creating the best mountain bike venue in the UK and in one of the most accessible places. We’re pretty excited about it, and think you will be too.

Located just outside Cheltenham, Gloucestershire Flyup own 100 acres of private land to mould into the venue we all really want to ride.

The 417 Project is the biggest privately owned mountain bike facility in the country offering a variety of riding disciplines within one venue.

Customer service plays an important role and with Flyup and we will do our best to look after you from the moment you book.
